Helping Customers Find the Right Roofing Contractor for Storm Damage Repairs

Westfall Roofing President, Ryan Westfall, was featured on one of Tampa Bay’s local news stations to share some advice on roofing repairs after the storm. Finding the right roofing contractor can be hard on a normal day. After a storm, things feel even more urgent. With the influx of roof damage, we also see more out of town roofers coming in to find roofing jobs.

We encourage you to be sure your roofer is licensed and is pulling permits for your roof repair or replacement. Don’t let temporary companies risk your home. Instead, look for a trusted and experienced roofing company, a roofer you can count on.

Installing a Free Roof for a Local Veteran

We were excited to provide John Scott, a U.S. veteran, with a free roof replacement through the Owens Corning Roof Deployment program in partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

This project allowed us to express our gratitude to John for his dedicated service and sacrifices while serving our country in the armed forces. Providing a new roof was a practical way to support John and enhance his home’s safety, comfort, and energy efficiency.

While the roof replacement was a significant undertaking, it was a small gesture compared to John’s immense sacrifices to protect our nation’s freedoms. We were honored to have the opportunity to give back to a veteran and provide him with a vital home improvement. This project allowed us to tangibly demonstrate our appreciation for John’s service and meaningfully contribute to his well-being.

Roof Donation to Suncoast Primate Sanctuary

Westfall Roofing had the honor of donating services to the local Suncoast Primate Sanctuary Foundation in Pinellas County.

These primates, lovingly named the Mighty Mites, endured much in their youth, being research primates in a lab that was testing chemicals for eliminating mites. When they were of no more use to the research lab, Suncoast was able to rescue them and provide them with their forever home.

Westfall Roofing is grateful to have been able to contribute a roof for the primates’ new home to be sure the rest of their lives will be safe and comfortable.

Giving Back: Robert Gruber

Robert Gruber, a U.S. Air Force veteran, received a new roof on Monday, November 7, 2022, from Westfall Roofing as part of the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project.

Through a partnership with Purple Heart Homes, Robert Gruber was selected and approved as the recipient for the roof replacement. The Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project is a nationwide effort to show gratitude and honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them.

Gary Sinise Foundation

Westfall Roofing partnered with Owens Corning Roofing and The Gary Sinise Foundation through the Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment (R.I.S.E.) program. This program builds 100% mortgage-free specially adapted smart homes for the most severely wounded heroes. Westfall Roofing was proud to install the roof for this very deserving US Veteran, Chief Warrant Officer Romy Carmargo. His home dedication ceremony was held on July 27, 2022.

The Great West Chase Race

Westfall Roofing sponsored The Great West Chase Race on October 23, 2021, with proceeds going to Citrus Park Elementary.

A fun day with our associates’ families and the West Chase community.

A Helping Hand In Our Communities

Westfall Roofing cares about the communities we live in. We partnered with Owens Corning and Habitat for Humanity to provide free roof replacements for people in need through the Roof Deployment Project, a nationwide effort to honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them. In 2019, we also teamed up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to help the Wickliffe family. And in 2020, we helped a Veteran’s widow Mrs. McCormick replace her roof for free.

Annual Tampa CEO Build with Habitat for Humanity

Both the morning and afternoon shifts of the March 24, 2023 Build day truly ROCKED IT!  Further construction on the CEO Build home is proceeding at a brisk pace. Our Homeowner Candidate, Tammy Bush-Jordan, will have a date set to ceremoniously receive the keys to her new home soon.

A huge thank you to Habitat for Humanity Hillsborough from the Westfall team!

Making a Difference During the Holidays: Our Annual Giving Tree Initiative

We believe that strong communities are built on the foundation of giving back. While we take pride in protecting homes with quality roofing services, our commitment to the community extends far beyond construction. Every year, we hold our Giving Tree program to create brighter futures and warmer holidays for local families in our communities.

This year, we’re proud to have sponsored 12 children, ensuring their Christmas morning was filled with joy and wonder.

As we reflect on this year’s success, we’ve begun planning ways to expand our reach and impact in the coming years. Join us in 2025 and help us make a difference in the lives of our community.
